The Limassol District Archaeological Museum houses a rich and notable collection of antiquities from the Neolithic age to the Roman period, originating from excavations at various archaeological sites in the Lemesos region.
The exhibits are housed in three rooms and are divided into three main categories.

The spectacular ‘Prokymea sculpture park’ and sculpture trail which runs the length of the Molos sea front and features works of art created by 16 artists of Cypriot and Greek origin as well as a number of international artists. The sculptures were selected through three sculpture symposiums from 1999-2001 and were incorporated into the park when the Molos area was remodelled. Stunning sea views complement the sculpture shapes.

Kolossi castle located in Kolossi village 14 kilometres west of the city of Limassol and was a former Crusader castle. The castle today consists of a single three-storey keep with an attached rectangular enclosure or bailey about 30 by 40 metres. It is a fine example of medieval military architecture and directly connected with a number of important events, which constitute various interesting folds of the agelong and stormy history of Cyprus
