Τι είναι το πρόγραμμα Erasmus +;

To πρόγραμμα Erasmus ξεκίνησε το 1987 και πρόκειται για ένα από τα πιο επιτυχημένα προγράμματα της Ευρώπης. Αφορά την επιχορηγούμενη κινητικότητα φοιτητών και προσωπικού (ακαδημαϊκού και διοικητικού) σε άλλα εκπαιδευτικά ιδρύματα και οργανισμούς στην Ευρώπη.

Οι φοιτητές, το ακαδημαϊκό και διοικητικό προσωπικό των ιδρυμάτων τριτοβάθμιας εκπαίδευσης έχουν τη δυνατότητα να μετακινούνται με επιχορήγηση της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης σε μια άλλη χώρα, ευρωπαϊκή (Κλασική Κινητικότητα) ή μη-ευρωπαϊκή, δηλαδή σε Χώρα Εταίρο (Διεθνής Κινητικότητα), με σκοπό να σπουδάσουν (Κινητικότητα φοιτητών για Σπουδές), να δουλέψουν (Κινητικότητα φοιτητών για Πρακτική Άσκηση), να διδάξουν (Κινητικότητα Διδακτικού Προσωπικού), να εκπαιδευτούν και να αναπτύξουν επαγγελματικά προσόντα και δεξιότητες (Κινητικότητα Προσωπικού για Επιμόρφωση).
